So if you are of the faint of heart, this post is not for you. Tuesday the 22nd, I went in for my doctor's appointment. I was already 3cm and 80% effaced! So i got really excited, and then the doctor proceeded to strip my membranes. I started to have tons of braxton hicks contractions and cramping. I lost my mucous plug and was so sure labor was about to begin. I was wrong. All the contractions and cramping went away and now I'm back to where I was when I figured I wasn't even dilated. I am glad though that I am only 1 cm from the point where I can get an epidural! Yeah! because I am not good with pain. This girl seems pretty content to stay inside even though she is more than big enough to come out. Monday July 14th we had an ultrasound and she was measuring slightly on the large side, although still normal. She was already 7lb 3oz. So it is time for her to come out!
